DAVID HYDE PIERCE: Well, Michael Feinstein and I have known each other as friends for many years … Michael asked me if I would do a show with him, and it’s not the kind of thing I usually do. Since I left Frasier I’ve been on Broadway, spending most of my time there doing musicals.
